Pink Lake – take a short drive from Geraldton to experience the unique pink water and take a selfie to share on Instagram and Facebook.
HMAS Sydney II Memorial – a world class tribute to our brave sailors lost at sea in 1941 with panoramic views of Geraldton and the coastline
The Geraldton Museum – located on the boat marina waterfront with both world class visiting and local displays including the Batavia shipwreck exhibition.
Horizon Sphere – view the everchanging ocean and sunsets through Geraldton’s newest artwork attraction. Located on the Beresford foreshore walk path just down from Dean Street.
History, Fishing & Nature
For those history buffs, you may enjoy some the beautiful old buildings such as St Francis Xavier Cathedral. Built by the famed Architect Monsignor Hawes this beautifully maintained building can be viewed by daily tours or lit up at night for photo opportunity.
The Geraldton Museum is an ideal place to view.
If flora is your interest, wildflower season in Geraldton is a must see. The Geraldton Visitor Centre is the place to gather all information about where and when to see the beautiful wildflowers.

Just a short stroll from the motel is the iconic Point Moore Lighthouse, where you can drive onto the beach up to the waters edge. Go swimming, fishing or watch the kite surfers. Take some drinks and food with you so you can wine and dine whilst watching the sunset.
On the way into Geraldton, is the perfect photo opportunity at The Leaning Tree of Greenough. These quirky trees have grown in accordance with the prevailing southerly winds that give Geraldton the nickname of ‘Windy City’.
Stargazing and Astrotourism is a world-class experience and the Midwest is home to some of the darkest night skies in the world.
In particular, Mullewa lends itself as one of the top places to escape the city lights and experience night skies full of stars.
